Dear Potential New Member,

Thank you for your interest in Alpha Chi Omega, a national, values-based organization that provides many opportunities for lifelong friendships, life-changing experiences, and long-lasting memories to enrich your time here at Brown University. Our five membership standards are the foundation for our chapter as well as what we expect from our sisters and search for in potential new members: CLAPF—Character, Leadership, Academic Interest, Personal Development, and Financial Responsibility. As such, our sisters are a diverse group of women who all contribute their amazing qualities to better themselves and others around them. Our chapter offers many leadership opportunities, and more importantly, provides a network of sisters—both current and alumnae—that will always help you. Alpha Chi Omega has helped me grow into a better person, and I'm thankful for my sisters every single day. They are my home away from home. Joining this sorority has changed my life, and I know it will continue to do so.

The official start of this experience can begin during your second semester through Formal Recruitment. Whether or not you are considering joining a sorority, I recommend participating in Recruitment so that you can meet new people and enjoy the experience. We look forward to meeting you, and we cannot wait to share with you the bonds of sisterhood!
